Reviewer’s narrative
I don’t know if the staff here is just bad at communication or just having a bad day or just didn’t like us on sight. They gave our reserved site to another family and told us we could force those people to pack up their stuff and leave if we really wanted to. Instead, we found another site. The new site cost less, so they gave us a ‘store credit’ since we had already paid our reservation with a credit card. When we tried to use the store credit at their food stand, they didn’t believe that it was ‘real’. Now, if it weren’t for the terrible human interaction, this seemed like a fine campground if you don’t mind being crowded with other campers (and lots of rv’s). There are many trails and other areas to explore, but you will not be likely to get away from other people unless the campground is relatively empty when you’re there.
