Reviewer’s narrative
I enjoyed the campground, it was a bit removed from the main highway there. There are pathways that let you wander the sites, and even offer a off the highway trail to the store, gas station and country food inn. I went at the end of the season, which I will let you know is very cold. Beware of the temperature drop at night. The meadow while still pretty to walk through, is not as gorgeous as during the beginning of the season. If you visit this particular site, I would suggest going in the beginning or middle of the season. Overall I had a fun trip to wander around the park. After I was done in Tuolumne Meadows, before I wandered out of the park, I visited Yosemite Valley which had other attractions to view. It most definitely is an expansive park that takes various trips and times to see everything that there is to offer. Enjoy it though, it's beautiful and well worth the trip.
