Information about the campground’s location and business:
Getting there (proximity to a major road, signage, etc.)
long, winding, pretty country roads (don’t estimate drive times by mileage)
Attractions (what's nearby for a daytrip?)
near the finger lakes
Campground Staff (helpful, non-existent, mean?)
good.  they helped us find a site we liked.  they trucked out the firewood we bought.
Other (cell phone reception, etc.)
cell phones worked.

Information about the campground as a place
Facilities (bathrooms, store, etc.)
extensive and clean bathrooms & store, all that is far away from the camping
Water (lake, creek, swimming, fishing, etc.)
small creek (you can step over it in places) the ponds are fishable but crowded with rv’s
Hiking Trails (variety, length, difficulty, etc.)
really nice short hiking trails.  you can get ‘lost’ in the woods for a few hours but sometimes the noise of
rv’s radios reaches the trails.
Views (what can you see here that is amazing?)
nothing is prettier than the woods; but then, what’s prettier than woods?

Information about the campground’s tent sites
Beauty (if you sit at your site all day)
we found a decent tent site edging the woods, but (see their website’s map) there aren’t many tent sites at all.
Privacy (how close do you feel to other sites)
there were 2 cabins in sight of our site, so unobtrusive cabin-stayers made it ok, but there was a lot of open space between us.
Facilities (table, fire ring, tent pad, water, etc.)
table and fire ring, but this place really caters to cabins and rv’s with a few tent sites thrown in.  there was
potable water at our site.
Convenience (ease of setting up, close to bathrooms?, etc.)
some places closer and some further away.

Reviewer’s narrative
This place really seems to cater more to cabin rentals and rv’s than tent camping.  I’ll bet a cabin might be nice in the winter.  The ones I saw were heated.  I didn’t see a lot of people, but it was pretty difficult to get away from the sound of people’s radios.  We were lucky to have quiet ‘neighbors’, so our stay was mostly good.  There are a good many trails through the woods (more than their website’s map shows...perhaps we hiked off their property?) though not much for long trails, you can definitely spend a few hours just wandering aimlessly through the forest.  I’d come here again only if I thought there was a good chance the place would not be very full.
